I'm tentatively typing this with my non-dominate left hand while my right arm is securely trapped within a cast for the next month or so.

I like to pay particular attention to the choice of the closing track of an album. I think it should be one that brings out an emotion in the listener, or at least one that you can remember the tune of ten minutes after hearing it...

With April being the month I properly fell in love with the band XTC, I did worry that this latest New (To Me) Music post would be quite sparse, but looking at my list of what I’ve been hearing for the first time, I'm pleasantly surprised that there's more than I'd thought.

This year I'm making an effort to listen to more new-to-me music, whether it's from a band/artist I've never heard before, artists I'm aware of, or music from an artist I already enjoy but haven't kept up with their output for whatever reason...
