With April being the month I properly fell in love with the band XTC, I did worry that this latest New (To Me) Music post would be quite sparse, but looking at my list of what I’ve been hearing for the first time, I'm pleasantly surprised that there's more than I'd thought.

I’ve been marvelling in some of XTC’s back catalogue for the past week or so (I’ve not yet listened to half of their studio albums) and bloody hell, they’re rather good, aren’t they?!

Thirteen albums have entertained my ears and nourished my brain these past few weeks. Not to overwhelm you too much with the awesomeness of tunes, I’ll only highlight specific albums, and give an honorary mention to the rest...

This year I'm making an effort to listen to more new-to-me music, whether it's from a band/artist I've never heard before, artists I'm aware of, or music from an artist I already enjoy but haven't kept up with their output for whatever reason...
