I wrote my first music article for Toppermost in December 2023, looking at the solo career of Squeeze co-founder Glenn Tilbrook, and recommending ten tracks. Then in February 2024 I did it again, this time focusing on his songwriting partner, Chris Difford. I'm currently writing my third piece for the site which will be published later in the year. Act Your Age Productions put a call-out for writers to create a short monologue to celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Beatles debut single, Love Me Do, in 2022. I answered the call and was taken aback when my monologue was accepted. The piece was performed and recorded by the wonderful actress, Julie Root.
