Onwards and upwards to this week's offering of my SFFSat delights. I have no idea what story I'm going to copy and paste ten sentences from, so I'm just going to make them up on the spot.
Quality woke with a start, still in the revealing crimson dress she'd spent the previous evening entombed in, being groped, fondled, pinched and leered at by a succession of randy otherworlders. It had been a good night. So why she was now lying in a stinking, dark medieval-like dungeon, her arms and legs shackled to the wall and floor, she couldn't quite say.
Only three sentences. But an intriguing three, nonetheless, I think you'll agree. And don't worry - Ms Times has not gone all Fifty Shades on you all! The above (I've decided) will be the beginning of the third Quality Times story, The Ballad of Rhett Rockett, when I eventually finish the first draft and get cracking on the rewrites.
