Hey folks!
Haven't participated in Six Sunday for quite a while so thought I would rectify that today.
Here's six sentences taken from 'The Whispering Tombs', the first in the Quality Times series (which is available from Amazon for less than a price of a cuppa!)
To my shame, a small part of me did contemplating running off. However, as I looked at the scared seventeen year old, something stirred within me. Call it maternal. Call it compassion. Call it stupidity. Whatever it was, I was staying where I was.
I've just finished the first draft of Book 2 in the series so I may post some sentences from that story next week.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back. :) I love this look into Quality's thoughts. We've all had that conflict of feeling and thoughts, the quick devolution of those thoughts and then the choice to go ahead and do something, even if it's stupid. Great six.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, missed you! Great peek into Quality's thoughts here!
ReplyDeleteLike the maternal feelings. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back, Gayle. I don't know if you want to know about typos, but in the first line "contemplating" probably should be "contemplate". :) Good six.
