Bloody Nora! We're nearly at the end of February already!
Anyway, back to Six Sunday. Remember, you can find over 100 fellow writers and their snippets by following this link.
Last week, Bob the archaelogist alien was reminiscing about a lost love. This week, we skip forward a bit in the story.
Bob and Qez left after we'd arranged to meet them in the foyer in an hour's time. Tim and I still had to finish this huge breakfast, and slip into something more appropriate for exploring caverns. I mean, a bikini top and knee-length skirt doth not an archaeologist make. And that was just Tim! I jest, of course. He would never wear a skirt that long.
Hmm, not sure if the "doth not.." line works but, what the hey, it's just the first draft!
And now for something completely different: Father Dougal McGuire!

ReplyDeleteGreat six! It makes me wonder what Quality was wearing :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Probably not what I'd wear exploring either, but it would be an interesting choice. And then, if there was water (like an underground lake like in Harry Potter) and she needed to make a sudden swim, she'd be ready.
